while there are environmental benefits to having a green fleet most fleets will only act when there is a definite cost/benefit ratio in their favour.

regardless of what vehicles fleets start driving (hybrid, electric or otherwise) asset management will still be needed as fleets grapple with growing fleets and shrinking resources!

As what you've said, in these times that there is a lot of opportunity for lost and stolen cargo, it is very important to always secure a cargo insurance, right? Whether you are shipping cotton balls or computer chips, make sure your cargo insurance policy is structured to cover the entire value of your goods.

I'd be interested to hear how much GPS navigation systems would cost for personal use when they first came out. A year to year comparison would be great.

We purchased our Garmin GPS just prior to leaving on vacation. We traveled 2000 miles round trip and never got lost using our GPS.
We researched which type of GPS to purchase and liked everything we read about Garmin. I especially liked the larger 4.3-inch screen and it was most helpful hearing the street names for where we were to turn. We also found restaurants and hotels using the GPS. It was not only helpful, but fun.

Great product, works well, as expected.

Pros:
-Bluetooth connects to phone (works well, too)
-Ability to touch and drag the map around the screen to view other map areas
-night mode turns the screen darker so it doesn't blind you at night
-traffic feature works sometimes (depending on if that service is available in the area you're driving in, and also if the traffic delays are up to date from the provider)
-speed sign tells you the speed of the current road you're on (not for all roads, but most)
-fast connection to satellites and getting map data

Cons:
-Speaker is a little 'tinny' sounding at 100%, but at 80% is not too bad
-power cord is somewhat bulky because of the traffic receiver, but not a big deal

This is my first GPS device. I love all electonics that make my life easier and more enjoyable. I, in the past have spent some time looking for an address, or a route, or a place to spend the night, or I have been traveling on the wrong road, or going in the wrong direction, etc. I think this device will preclude this from happening, at least, happening rarely. I am satisfied with it.

I've had it for about a month now and it's taken me all over MA and NY. It has all the right features. The one thing I don't like is the keyboard, but it's worth the extra two seconds it takes to type something in. It's worth paying a few dollars more for the text to speech and it's thinner than the tomtom OneXL which is in the same price range. (The OneXL doesn't do text to speech either.)

The voice is plenty loud, the map is easy to read, and I think it's nice that the power connector is on the back, it looks better than having one on the side.

A+++ Garmin did a good job with this.

There's a great deal to learn. Regarding the tracker products what is more efficient GPS or GSM?

Hello! I got the most valuable information about gps tracking and there are basically two types of GPS tracking device technology available to the public. The simplest is called a passive or logger tracking device. Thanks!
